Founded in 2008, QA Engineering is Native American, Hispanic, veteran-owned engineering and construction firm (general construction license #389684). QAE, an SBA 8(a) certified minority-owned, disadvantaged, small business, specializes in facility support design and construction services including mechanical, electrical, civil and energy engineering, commissioning and lighting. QAE's staff is comprised of licensed mechanical and sheet metal journeymen, construction project managers and certified commissioners, mechanical, electrical and civil engineers, and CAD technicians.
QA Engineering traces its history in New Mexico with its founder Robert A. Quintana, P.E., a Hispanic veteran. Robert is a registered Mechanical and Civil engineer with over 24 years of experience with long standing engineering, commissioning and constructions firms. Robert is also a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), an ASHRAE certified Commissioning Process Management Professional (CPMP), a Commissioning Authority (CxA), and a LEED Accredited Professional.
In 2013 Robert partnered with Jon C. Anthony P.E., a registered Mechanical and Electrical engineer. Jon is a registered Tribal Citizen of the Chickasaw Nation and has over 24
years of extensive mechanical and electrical engineering, and
commissioning experience with long standing engineering
firms. Jon is also an ASHRAE certified Commissioning Process
Management Professional (CPMP)
and a LEED Accredited Professional BD&C.
